I just recently finished reading this book so now I can write about it. I’ve read some of Agatha Christie’s work before so I know she is a good author to pick up with I’m in the mood for a classic “who done it” novel and this novel definitely fits that bill. I did enjoy this novel even though I was able to guess the ending before we got to it (at least, partially speaking). If you want to know what I mean by that statement, you’ll have to contact me because I don’t want to blast any spoilers out there for anyone who hasn’t read this novel yet and would like to do so. Anyway, if you love a good mystery or a nice murder mystery, you may want to pick up this novel.

Synopsis: A teenage murder witness is drowned in a tub of apples… At a Hallowe’en party, Joyce—a hostile thirteen-year-old—boasts that she once witnessed a murder. When no-one believes her, she storms off home. But within hours her body is found, still in the house, drowned in an apple-bobbing tub. That night, Hercule Poirot is called in to find the ‘evil presence’. But first he must establish whether he is looking for a murderer or a double-murderer…
