News on “Chronicles of Narnia”

After watching the movies “The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe” in 2005, “Prince Caspian” in 2008 and “Voyage of the Dawn Treader” in 2010, I was looking forward to seeing the next movie in the series which was rumored to be the “Silver Chair”. I’d heard the rumors for years that they were going to be making that movie and I held out hope that I’d get a chance to see them continue making the other books into movies. I have found information regarding the series that announces that they are basically rebooting the series on Netflix (I provided a link below). I’m not sure how I feel about this at the moment. I’m currently reserving my judgement for when it comes out and I will decide then if they do the series justice or not.

What are your thoughts on the Chronicles of Narnia making the move to Netflix? Do you think it’s good or bad? Let me know by leaving a comment below….

  1. Like most people, I have a Netflix subscription that I’m paying for each month, and I love the efforts Netflix has made to produce unique content. At one point, Netflix was just about making deals with content creators to get content available on Netflix, but now the main part of their game has become actually producing their own content, whether that means rebooting Full House, starting a memorizing television series like 13 Reasons Why, or this kind of move.

I watched the Chronicles of Narnia movies back when they came out a number of years ago, but I never felt like these movies did the book series justice. I am hopeful that Netflix will not disappoint with this move, and I am excited to see what they come up with. I’m sure it will be good.

    1. I’m just interested in seeing what they do with the Chronicles of Narnia series now that it’s getting a reboot. I was thinking the series was going to continue on at some point but I’m okay with Netflix taking over if they do it right.
