Who are your favorite hero’s from literature you’ve read? Why is that character on your list? What makes this character a hero in your opinion?

Harry Potter = Harry has to face off against Voldemort, possibly the most evil wizard in history, regardless if he wants to or not and he shows the exactly why he belongs in Gryffindor in the process. Now, there are times that you see Harry go through some teenage angst and what not but you’re watching Harry grow up during the entire series.

Lisbeth Salander = This girl from Stieg Larsson’s “Girl With a Dragon Tattoo” series is one of my absolute favorites. She’s a computer hacker who doesn’t fit into any normal stereotype. She’s very tough for a girl and overcomes a lot.

Katniss Everdeen = This is another female character that is a favorite of mine. Like Harry, she is going through her teenage years (I believe she was around 16/17 years old when the series was taking place) so there was probably some teenage angst going on. But if you stop and think about what Katniss had to deal with during the series, that’s a lot for a 16 or 17 year old to have to deal with and I think she dealt with it very well.
