How many of you listen to an audiobook? How often to you listen to an audiobook? Do you prefer listening to an audeiobook as opposed to reading the actual book on your own? Do you count listening to an audiobook as part of your reading goal for the week/month/year?
I don’t normally listen to audiobooks. I normally like to read the book myself. I did get Eragon on audiobook for my hubby. He has never read the book but he went with me to watch the movie when that came out. He actually enjoyed the movie but he didn’t realize that they left so much out of the movie. So he ended up being a little bummed so I got the audiobook. I’ll have to dig that back out and have my hubby listen to that so he can see how good the book really was. I think he would actually like the book if he would listen to the audiobook.
How do you think I can get my hubby to listen to the audiobook? He has a really short commute to work so he wouldn’t be able to listen to it in his truck going to and from work everyday. What are some other ideas that I can use to get my hubby interested in listening to some audiobooks?
I listen to audiobooks regularly during my daily walks. It’s a great way to compliment the time as I consider going for walks as part of my “me” time. I used to listen to audiobooks more when I had a longer commute to and from work however that’s no longer the case I work from home most of the time.

I don’t have a long commute to work. It takes me 5 minutes at the most to get to work. So it would take me forever to get through an audio book if I listened to one during my commute to work. I don’t have the time for an audio book.
