How important is reading to you? Why does reading have such an importance in your life? When did it become important?
I’ve always enjoyed reading. Reading is a way for me to escape without having to actually leave the house. It’s like a vacation without actually going on a vacation and it’s much cheaper than taking an actual vacation. This provides a way for me to relax or unwind after a hard day at work. Plus, you don’t have to worry about your neighbors complaining about your book being too loud.
Another importance of reading, I’ve found out, can be in can help you stay sharp mentally. I’ve found this out reading a few articles saying reading helps you stay sharp as you age. I like that idea so I’d like to continue reading for as long as I can and for as often as I can.
I’ve been a reader my whole life. It never started with a particular book or author or a specific event in my life. I’ve always been a bookworm my entire life, for as along as I can remember. Even before I was old enough to read on my own, I enjoyed it when someone else would read to me.
I have always found reading to be extremely theraputic and relaxing. It helps keep the mind sharp and attentive as you have to actively be reading to fully remember and comprehend what is going on in the story. Personally I want to get back into reading more but with work and spending time with my family I don’t get much time recently to spend much time to get back into reading but I am hoping to change that soon!
